Dropper post clean and lube
A post that drops with a bar lever so the saddle is out of the way on descents. Hydraulic cartridge or mechanical; cable from a bar remote.

Tools

- Shop rags + nitrile gloves: shop towels and nitrile gloves ($)
- Fork oil + suspension grease: Slick Honey suspension grease and RockShox 0W-30 fork oil ($$)

Steps
- Extend the post fully. Wipe the stanchion clean.
- Lift the wiper seal edge with a clean pick, wipe out grit.
- Put a thin film of suspension grease on the stanchion and cycle the post 10 times.
- Check the cable: the post should drop smoothly with a light lever push.
